Alchemised by SenLinYu
“This book was not only gut-wrenching and beautifully written, but it also has done something that not many can, and that is tell a tragic story without romanticizing what makes it tragic. This book has become one of, if not my favorite, book of all time.”

Dire Bound by Sable Sorensen
“This book became my top 2025 read in a hurry! Imagine Fourth Wing but with dire wolves! The details and world building in this book was absolutely AMAZING! Fated, enemies to lovers, everything you would ever want wrapped into this book!”

Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett
“Good Omens is a heartwarming and hilarious book, even down to the footnotes. There is a great cast of characters that you instantly fall in love with. The world these two authors created is compelling and close enough to ours to be relatable. This is one of the very few books that I will recommend to anyone, no matter their taste in books. I especially recommend it if you're in a reading slump and looking to get back into reading.”

How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss
“This book is a classic Christmas kids’ book. This book is about a creature that hates Christmas and doesn’t want anyone to be happy, so he goes into the town called Who-ville and steals everything Christmas from everyone, including presents, decorations, etc. In the end, he ends up connecting with everyone, and they’re all able to celebrate Christmas together!”

Jules—Bookseller, Newark, DE
Howl’s Moving Castle (Collector’s Edition) by Diana Wynne Jones
“In a beautifully adorned deluxe edition, with ethereal accents on the pages and cover, we have an absolutely charming tale of romance, whimsical magic, a comforting atmosphere, and raw emotional flaws and challenges. Most importantly, at the heart of this novel, we learn the importance of self-love and how both Sophie and the wizard Howl gain the courage to accept themselves through their blossoming love for one another.”

Forrest—Bookseller, Richmond, VA
Stranger Things: Starcourt Mall Escape by Jennifer Brody
“If you're counting down the days until the Stranger Things 5 premiere drops, Starcourt Mall Escape is the perfect little appetizer to hold you over. It's light, heartfelt, and full of what we've come to expect from the Hawkins gang: friendship, freedom, and the kind of trouble only Eleven and company can stumble into. Set during the summer of 1985, Eleven’s search for a ‘normal’ life and Max's fight to escape her own reality make for a story that feels real, nostalgic, and quietly powerful. If you love the show for its heart as much as its horror, this one’s for you. Starcourt Mall Escape is a sweet, neon-lit slice of life that reminds us why we fell in love with Hawkins in the first place.”

The Intruder by Freida McFadden
“In my humble opinion, this is Freida McFadden's best book! I loved how uniquely and brilliantly written this book was! This is not a true murder mystery but still has Freida's usual twists and turns, and there are a lot of them in this book. The last plot twist will shock you! I finished this book in one sitting and cannot recommend it enough!”

The Strange House by Uketsu
“I am recommending this manga series because it is simply amazing! This is about someone who works in architecture and notices a house’s blueprints are a little off. They go see someone about it, and they say it might be a murder room! It has four volumes at the moment, and they are all amazing! It really holds your interest the entire time. I love how detailed it can be because, as you read, you might have a thought or question, then it explains it, so you're never left wondering! It is great for any true crime fan!”

The Things Gods Break by Abigail Owen
“I couldn’t put this book down. I finished it within a few hours and stayed up WAY too late simply because it was so captivating. I really enjoyed seeing Lyra and Boone’s dynamic and friendship grow even more. ILOVED learning more about the Titans (especially Cronos) and what led to them being put in Tartarus. It was an emotional roller coaster that I willingly got on and would get on again and again. One moment I’m laughing, the next I’m tearing up, and after that, my jaw could be open in shock. Abigail’s world-building is so well written that it was easy for me to imagine each scene and really lose myself in the book. I have so many theories and thoughts on how this book ended. I’m anxiously awaiting whenever the third book will be released.”

Darrell—Bookseller, Nashville, TN
Witness to Belief by Russell J. Levenson
“The author interviews 12 very recognizable personalities that represent a good cross-section of America. His questions prompt their responses on such topics as early childhood, faith, and current lifestyles, and many of those responses will amaze you! You’ll think you know some of these celebrities well, but these short but candid biographies will often give you a new perspective on who they really are and how they live their lives. A very inspiring and encouraging book. Don’t miss it!”
