Circle the date on your calendars and get ready for some 80’s nostalgia! This morning Entertainment Weekly dropped the news that The Baby-Sitter’s Club will be hitting Netflix on July 3rd! The 10 episode Netflix series will follow the friendship and adventures of five middle schoolers starting their own babysitting business.
While they’ve updated the story to fit modern times, producer Rachel Shukert promises the reboot will continue to be a lighthearted, positive tale of love and friendship that will speak to a multigenerational audience. While you’re waiting for the series to air, grab a book for your child and yourself– after all, when is the last time you checked on what Kristy, Mary-Anne, Claudia, Stacey, and Dawn were up to?
